Urban Gurl/Suburban Swurl, National Women & Girls Sports Day

To honor Women and Girls In Sports Day, Urban Gurl/Suburban Swurl will address the pressures of sports training and its social somatic norms. Panel discussions will consider how “maladaptive perfectionism” affects the training, as well as the mental health of girls and women in sports.
